Hey Guys, I can't begin to tell you how encouraging it is to read all your posts! We are days away from memorial and it is heating up on the Delta!!!! I have to share my Solitude moment this week - it came very unplanned. We have a christian school out on the water right now. 2 houseboats tied up at backside as I type! They arrived on Tuesday and things couldn't have gone smoother. All the med forms.....PERFECT! No wind, 90 degrees, current-mild, mid-tide! Doesn't get much better than that. So we ate dinner, and ran their program. I spoke that night about relentless trust in the Father and radical acceptance through Jesus the Son! Small groups ended and I boarded the patio boat about 10:30pm. I turned into the main channel to start heading back to the docks and then it hit me........It is pitch black, this is the patio boats first run of the season, there are no other Sonshine boats out here, no one knows where I am, if this boat breaks down or if something happens....no one will know or find me until morning!!!! This incredible sense of solitude overwhelmed me. I slowed the patio down a little and had an incredible drive in with Jesus. So often I go through the motions of the day and even ministry forgetting or not recognizing / acknowledging Jesus' presence. He constantly pursues me in all things! It was funny that night i used the scripture - Proverbs 3:4-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding - in all your way acknowledge Him and He will direct your path!"
Continue praying for the group out on the water! Mike Corsetto is speaking tonight and then affirmations............then fudgy love.........then Mikey!!!!!
-Peace
