Holy Week

First blog post for me....here we go! First of all, I really enjoyed going through this week's devotion, and really got a lot of new insights in revisiting Jesus' last days on earth and this Holy Week. Specifically, something that spoke to me most was when Mary saw Jesus for the first time after his resurrection. It said "Sudden tears filled her eyes and great sobs shook her whole body, and all she wanted in that moment was to cling to Jesus and never let him go." Lately Mary's response to Jesus exactly matches how I have been feeling in His presence. In my quiet times and prayer I often feel like I am "re meeting" who Jesus really is, and in those moments want nothing more then to "cling to Him and never let go." With that being said, I feel like for the first time this Easter takes on a complete new meaning for me...I'm not sure exactly how to put into words, but the more I'm learning about and experiencing the person and character of Jesus Christ, the more I am falling in love and desiring to draw nearer.
