Thank You!

I figure being a college student and all there is a lot expected from us academically.  But me being a youth ministry major, my quality of writing is defiantly not the best.  But I figure this is more of a journal type entry rather than a final paper in school.  So with that out of the way I will start writing...


How did he do it?  How did Jesus die for the sins of the earth with out even knowing us?  What type of faith must that take for a man to leave this world and the ones he loves to die for us? 


I'm going to be honest.  I really don't think I could die for the sins of my friends let alone someone I don't even know.  Washing their feet is another thing.  I could do that all day.  The Faith that Jesus had was enormous.  I could only imagine it being like, "Hey guys, I'm going to be tortured and beaten for you and killed for your sins. But I love you so it will be okay."  


We must daily die to ourselves so that we can be the vessels that Christ wants for us.  It is sometimes the hardest thing we have to do in our day but it makes are day so much more meaningful.  I picture this summer being a lot like this.  Waking up in the morning just super bitter betty and not wanting to do anything.  And just giving every part of who you are to God that he might speak to the kids through you.  I am super excited to see God show up in each and everyone of our lives as we embark on this mission!
